Here From Now

Here From Now is a Landscape Photography Exhibition which seeks to investigate different elements and forms in Contemporary Landscape Photography. Camden Image Gallery has invited twenty-two unique photographers from all over the world to exhibit their work and photo books.

Camden Image Gallery will also be exhibiting the work of Jo Metson Scott and writer Sarah Saey. They will be bring their study ‘The Borderland’ where they drove across the English borderland region – from the Solway Firth in the West, following the English-Scottish border to Berwick Upon Tweed in the east – curious to learn more about this region we knew little about. As well as a photographic study from Stevie McGarrity-Alderdice. In March 2014 Stevie was performing and showing artwork in Tokyo Japan: During his visit he had the opportunity to visit Sendai, one of the affected areas caused by the devastation of the Tsunami on March 11th 2011.  Stevie was asked to produce work in response to his visit to Sendai, whereas he produced a series of photographs on how the landscape currently looked three years on.
